Allies for Justice is a book study group rooted in God’s call to “do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with your God” (Micah 6:8). Together, we explore the significance of social justice in the church and in our faithful action as Christians.
What We Do:
- Examine Social Justice: Study why and how justice is central to the church's mission.
- Build Stamina for Action: Develop perseverance to serve our neighbors, the marginalized, and the oppressed.
- Engage in Reflection: Foster deep discussions around books and topics that challenge and inspire us.
Meeting Details:
- Meets weekly on Mondays, both in-person and via Zoom.
- Holidays Off: The group will not meet on the following dates:
- January 20 (MLK Day)
- February 17 (Presidents' Day)
