Parkinson's Support Group
When: 1st & 3rd Wednesdays, 11 AM
Where: Room 112
The Parkinson’s Support Group at Second Presbyterian Church, lovingly called “Sticks,” was named for the idea that many sticks bundled together are stronger than one. This group offers a supportive community for anyone navigating Parkinson’s—whether as a patient or caregiver.
What to Expect:
- Companionship: Build meaningful relationships with others who share your journey.
- Support: Join a community that helps normalize life by addressing shared challenges.
- Leadership: The group is led by Marsha Hutchinson, a retired minister from the United Methodist Church with extensive experience in support groups.
The Sticks group is open to all who are looking for a supportive extended family. Come and experience the strength and encouragement that comes from walking the journey together.
